Each week McRae Elementary will pick a teacher of the week that shows enthusiasm, love for students, commitment to education and positive outlook!
Mrs. Bucher enjoys watching her students grow physically and mentally in knowledge and skill. She loves to watch her former students perform in band, orchestra and choir and loves to sing with them in church and the community!
One of her favorite times of the year is Halloween because of all the cute songs. It is also the time of year she introduces lots of instruments. "Musicland" is also wonderful fun!!
When asked about one of her best teaching memories she says she wishes she had written down ALL of them! There have been so many times she's laughed till her side hurts or cried because something or someone moved her so much. She loves her administration, co-workers and her children with all of her heart. She feels very blessed because most people can't say that about their job. McRae is in her DNA!!!
Mrs. Bucher will have a special parking place reserved just for her this week. Be sure to congratulate her when you see her!!
