Mrs. Amy Clay is Teacher of the Week for November 4-8! When asked what she likes most about teaching: "I love building relationships with my students. Third graders can be so much fun to hang out with everyday! I feel so blessed to be such a small part of their lives."
Mrs. Clay has been teaching for 18 years. She has spent the majority of those years teaching third grade. She has been married to Jeff for 18 years and they have two children that attend McRae Elementary! Owen is in 3rd grade and Elly is a 1st grader this year. Their family loves to spend time together at the beach, camping, watching movies and playing games.
Some of Mrs. Clay's favorite teaching memories are the lifelong, meaningful friendships she's made with her coworkers over the years! We are so glad she is at McRae!!! Congratulations!
