Searcy School District uses various avenues to inform our parents and students if school will be closed due to inclement weather. Please be sure to access these resources if there is a question about school closure.
1. We will send a text message and voice message to all students' and employees' primary contact number. (So make sure those are up-to-date. Forms were sent home.)
2. We will post the closure information on www.searcyschools.org and the Searcy School District Facebook and Twitter pages.
3. Channels 4, 7, and 11 will scroll closure information after being informed by Searcy School District.
4. Local radio stations will be contacted and announce on the morning radio shows that school is closed.
We will notify our students and parents as quickly as possible after the school closure decision has been made. Please make sure to utilize these designated methods for school closure information.
