The Searcy Public Schools Board of Directors is made up of five citizens elected at the annual school election on the third Tuesday in September.  The members of the Board serve five year terms so arranged that one member is elected annually.  The Board of Education is the policy-making body of the school district. 

Monthly board meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 5:15 p.m. in the Superintendent’s Office at 801 North Elm.  In the event that the meeting day is in a school holiday week, the meeting date may be changed by the board members.
