Come to the library to find a perfect book or read an e-book anywhere with internet access!! E-books may be read independently or if wanted the audio feature may be turned on so that students may listen to the book. You may access the e-books directly through our district's library link,  Welcome to Searcy School Libraries . Select McRae Elementary. This will allow you to search for all materials cataloged in our library. If only interested in viewing e-books, under the materials tab, select electronic books and then type in the subject that interests your child.

Arkansas Diamond Award

The Arkansas Diamond Primary Book Award was established by the Arkansas Elementary School Council in 1998 to encourage reading for students in Grades K-3. The name of the award was chosen because Arkansas is the only diamond producing state. Students in grades 1-3 at McRae participate in voting for their favorite title from the Arkansas Diamond List each year in April.
