Mrs. Henderson, a third grade teacher, was chosen as Teacher of the Week at McRae Elementary! Mrs. Henderson enjoys building relationships with children and their families and loves the opportunity to help kids love learning! One of her favorite projects is the Living Museum. "The students work so hard and are very excited to show their families what they've been working on for weeks. The best part is watching the students perform their speeches in costume on the night of the performance. It is very rewarding to see how proud they are of themselves!" One of her best teaching memories is when the weather did not cooperate on a field trip and her 3rd grade team had to make the best of an unexpected situation!
