Transportation
The SSD Transportation Department aims to provide safe, clean, and reliable transportation for K-12 students to and from school, district facilities, and events. We also strive to maintain efficient and effective bus routes and field trips. . This process is the responsibility of the entire community and requires the cooperation of all students, parents, school personnel, and citizens who drive on the streets in the presence of school buses.
Students and parents are asked to read these regulations carefully. They must be followed if we are to provide safe and efficient transportation for the students of this district.
Please be patient with the bus schedule for the first few weeks of school. Buses may not arrive at the exact scheduled time, however we will be as efficient as possible in getting our students to and from Searcy Schools.

Meet Our Drivers
SMART tag is a system that we use on our buses to imporve student transportation safety and security. Students use ID cards that, when scanned by the bus driver, confirm they are authorized to ride and help ensure they are getting on the right bus and off at the correct stop.
What is SMARTtag and how does it work?
