Over the last several weeks, students in 2nd grade have been testing toys, identifying real-world problems, brainstorming a booklet of ideas they'd either like to improve or invent, selecting one idea for their invention and logging the steps they took as they created their inventions. Today, students presented to parents and other community guests. Participation ribbons will be awarded to all students, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be announced for each classroom. We had guest judges join us today for the students' presentations. Thank you students, parents and teachers who worked together toward our first Invention Convention. It was truly amazing
