Congratulations to the SHS Varsity cheerleaders who competed at the National Cheerleaders Association national championship this past weekend!
They were 3rd after the first day. On Day 2 the routine had to be stopped due to an injury, and in order to finish, the routine had to be reworked in about two hours and performed again. The grit and teamwork they showed was awesome and they finished 8th out of 26 (Game Day Large All Girl) in the Nation. They were also given the division award for Best Use of Props. They represented Searcy High school well!
