This message is for parents of SHS Seniors: The deadline to order and pay for a yearbook ad for your senior is this Friday, September 30. Searcy School District is pleased to announce that Searcy High School senior Gaby Sledge has been named a 2023 National Merit Semifinalist. Sledge is the daughter of Joe and Tricia Sledge. She is one of 16,000 Semifinalists in the 68th annual National Merit Scholarship Program who scored high on the PSAT. Sledge will compete along with other academically high achieving students for approximately 7,250 National Merit Scholarships totaling nearly $28 million. The finalists will be announced through nationwide news releases beginning in April and concluding in July. Searcy School District will honor Gaby at a reception later this fall. Congratulations to Gaby Sledge for this outstanding achievement!
