Ahlf Junior High School

NJHS will host a glow dance for AJHS students on Friday, April 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00. Concessions will be available for $1.00-$2.00. Cash and cards will be accepted. Proceeds will support NJHS scholarships. The school dress code does apply. Students suspended or assigned to in-school suspension this semester (since January) are not eligible to attend.

We are proud of our AJHS and SHS chess club students who competed in the Wilbur Mills Coop tournament in Beebe today. Antonio Brito, Isaac Gustke, Aiden Hass, and Jesus Santos tied for 4th place in the junior high division. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the following AJHS students for placing in the State National History Day competition this past weekend. Grant Adams - 1st place Individual Documentary Anna Williams, Eva Moss, Bethany Kitzmiller, & Libby Huff - 1st place Group Performance Ryleigh Lawrence - 3rd place Paper Zane Blake - Military History Award (special $$ prize) Our two 1st place entries are automatically advancing to the National History Day competition in Washington, DC in June. AJHS is very proud of these students! Way to go!!

Today, at our 3rd Nine Weeks Honors Assembly 161 students were recognized for All A's & B's, 113 students for All A's, and 175 students were recognized for Perfect Attendance. We also recognized our students who had more than 3 positive referrals this nine weeks. Way to go! We are so proud of you!!
