Searcy superintendents surprised two Searcy High School staff members today with news they had been named Teacher of the Year and Employee of the Year! Addison Safley was nominated by his building and selected as the 2023-2024 Searcy School District Teacher of the Year. According to the leadership team at SHS,"Mr. Safley is always positive and encouraging. He engages with his colleagues professionally and humbly. Students rave about his class and how much they learn. His ability to transmit love for learning and work is indicative of his positive influence on education here at SHS."
\r\nBettye Fox was selected as the Employee of the Year for her hardwork and dedication and how she treats students and staff members in the hallways or cafeteria. "Betty goes above and beyond her normal duties."
