The Lego Club Cup robotic competition at Harding Academy on Saturday, November 5th, was a success! Two SWMS teams competed with ten from the Academy. Team Somebody, with Kash Coleman and Jess Douglas, earned a spot with the 4th Alliance and Team Gear Head, with Boston Johnson and Noah Miller, earned a 2nd place Alliance position after morning challenge rounds. Team Gear Head achieved the highest score for a single match in the tournament and finished 2nd place overall after a hard fought final battle! Gear Head also received the coveted Innovation Award for their offensive scoring combined with defensive abilities. Their Lego Trophy will be displayed in the cafeteria soon! We are very proud of these students!
