This message is to our parents from the Searcy Schools Health Services Department. If you have taken your child to be tested for a Covid-19 test and the rapid test is negative, but the doctor sends the test out for a PCR result, please do not let your child return to school until the result of the PCR test is returned. A copy of a negative PCR test result will allow the child to return to school and the days missed will be excused. If the doctor does not determine that a PCR test is needed, please bring a doctor’s excuse or diagnosis for the illness to cover the days missed. Additionally, if your child is experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, please keep your child at home. Thank you for your attention and cooperation.

Dear SWMS Parents You may view your child’s school activity and communicate with their teacher/teachers via Schoology. Keep reading for directions to complete your parent assignment. We value your participation in your child’s education. Teachers will be working with students to ensure that they are comfortable using Schoology to view instructional materials and know how to complete and submit assignments online. You and your child will be given login credentials to access the platform. The link below will provide you with step-by-step directions for getting started with Schoology. Parent/Guardian Schoology Instructions - https://bit.ly/2122School (link also on the school website) Schoology Instructional Video for Parents - https://youtu.be/KRvdAAIslM0 (Link also on school website) Your child’s teacher will be sending you the Access Code via a text message and/or email using the School Status app. You will need this Access Code to set up your Parent Schoology account. The teachers will send these codes out during the day on Thursday. It is important that you activate your Schoology account by Sunday night. You may share this Access Code with multiple parents of your choosing.
