Searcy School District Families~Through a generous donation from the Searcy Fire Department and community members, Searcy School District has non perishable food items available for anyone who may need them over the holidays. As our students will be home until our return to school on January 10, we hope our families will take advantage of this donation. Each campus has a food donation box located outside the main entryway doors. You may pick up food items during pickup today, drop off tomorrow morning,or anytime throughout the next few days that is convenient for you until the food is gone. We are so very grateful for the Searcy Fire Department and its commitment to our children and families! We wish you and your family a very happy holiday!

Cpl. Todd Myers, SRO at AJHS, spoke with the Social Studies classes today about the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and American liberties contained therein. He also recounted "odd" laws that were on the books in Arkansas at one time such as not driving a cow through town after 1:00pm on Sundays. The students had lots of questions about their rights under the Amendments and if the "odd" laws were still in effect today.
