Today at AJHS we celebrated our students with various achievements during the 1st nine weeks of school! We are super proud to have celebrated 370 students!!

Reminder: Tomorrow, Thursday, October 26 we will host our 1st Nine Weeks Recognition Assembly. Parents wishing to attend should arrive 10-15 minutes before the assembly time to check in through the office.


AJHS will be hosting a Flu Immunization Clinic on Thursday, November 9. Consent and FERPA forms must be signed and returned by Thursday, November 2 in order to receive a shot. Forms MUST be signed and the student's name must be listed in all required areas. Forms will be sent home with students no later than Thursday, October 26.

AJHS will dismiss at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday - Thursday this week. This will help alleviate some parking and logistics with SHS hosting the 5A State Volleyball Tournament. Thank you for your support.


Parents are invited to join us as we celebrate our students on Thursday, October 26. The 7th grade assembly will be held at 9:00 a.m. and the 8th grade at 1:00 p.m. Parents need to arrive 10-15 minutes early and check in through the office.

Wednesday, all EAST students attend the annual EAST Summit at the Performing Arts Center at Searcy High School. They heard from many community partners and learned why communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are important in jobs. Lunch was provided by First Community Bank.


Reminder: Tomorrow is the last day for the Fall Scholastic Book Fair. If you plan to purchase, please do so by the end of the day. Thank you to all who supported our library by participating in the book fair.

Reminder: Parent-Teacher Conferences are this afternoon from 3:40 pm - 7:40 pm. Parents will be able to pick up report cards, visit with teachers, and shop the book fair.


AJHS Parent Teacher Conferences will be held Tuesday, October 17 from 3:40 pm - 7:30 pm. Parents will be able to pick up report cards, meet with teachers and shop the Scholastic Book Fair.


The AJHS Scholastic Book Fair is this week!! Students can shop before school, during lunch, and after school. The book fair will also be open during Parent -Teacher Conferences on Tuesday from 3:40-7:30.

Any student who did not have their picture made in September or needs to retake
their pictures will have them made on Thursday. In order to have a picture re-taken,
the purchased package or proof sheet sent home last week will need to be brought
back to Mrs. Farley by Tuesday, October 17.
Friday, October 20: No School for Students/ CTM Day for Teachers
Students will not have school on Friday in order for teachers to be able
to plan and prepare for the next nine weeks.
