April is the month known for busy school schedules and end of year testing. Our students participate in ATLAS state testing throughout the year, culminating in April. While this test is only a snapshot at skills and knowledge, we want all students to do their best! Check out these tips to being successful as we begin testing this week.

We have our finalists and are looking forward to celebrating the naming of our book of the year! For our field trip tomorrow (Monday) wear red if your student is voting for The Yellow Bus and black if your student chooses The Book The Almost Rhymed!

Students at Sidney Deener joined in our district-wide March Book Madness reading challenge. We read 12 picture books together and are down to our finalists! We will be attending a celebration at Lion Arena Monday, where our Book of the Year will be revealed! Be sure to ask your student which book was their favorite!
Tomorrow is our final collection day for our Share the Fair! This week has been AMAZING! We are so thankful for your contributions to funding great books for all students and classrooms!
