We had such an amazing night at the 2024 Southwest Middle School Talent Show. Each year, these students manage to amaze us even more with their incredible talents! We are already looking forward to next year!
Thank you to our amazing PTO for the delicious treats that were brought around on the snack cart today. That was a fun surprise for our staff!

SWMS PTO is gearing up for the World’s Finest Chocolate Fundraiser which will run from 03/25/24 to 04/10/24!
Fundraising prizes include the following:
!. Sell 2 boxes of chocolate and earn a ticket to the SWMS Glow Up Karaoke Party on 4/26/24. Get out of class and GLOW!
Snacks, Karaoke, Music and More! (Top 3 sellers from SWMS will get upgraded glow sticks!)
2. Top 3 sellers from each grade will get to participate in “Silly String the SWMS Admin!”
3. SWMS Top Seller will receive $100, 2nd place seller $75, and 3rd place seller $50!!!
The White County Health Department will be holding an immunization clinic at Southwest Middle School on Friday, May 3rd.
Tdap immunization for students age 11 and MCV4 immunization for students entering the 7th grade will be required prior to registration for the 2024-2025 school year.

Our 4th grade students had the opportunity to participate in the Museum of Discovery's Tinkerfest at Lion Arena today. They worked on S.T.E.A.M. activities, interacted with virtual reality videos, and watch the FIRST Robotics Competition. It was a fun day that was full of learning!
