Chemistry students in Mrs. Sarah Kitts class are testing samples of elements and observing the color of flames emitted. By observing the flame, students are able to see the energy that is given off in the form of visible light. The flame test can provide an identification method based on color of flame emitted by element. Go Lions!

The conference golf tournament was today at Marion. The boys finished 3rd overall and qualified for the state tournament. The girls finished 4th overall and Catalina Hillis, Carmela McFarland, and Ryne Gosdin qualified for the state tournament as individuals. Luke Killough was the overall medalist for the boys. Luke Killough, Alex Miller, and Catalina Hillis were all-conference.
