
Donations are piling up at Deener for our Fall Food Drive! We love seeing our community come together to provide for each other!


We are putting a spotlight on attendance and are excited to announce an upcoming attendance incentive at Sidney Deener. From November 7-December 9, any student who has not been absent or tardy will receive both recognition and a fun reward!


BIG THINGS are happening in the PTO! We have some fun new events coming down the line :D
But we cannot continue to do what we do without YOU! Parents, teachers, school staff, grandparents, family members, community members... if you want to better our school, have ideas (or want to just come listen), we would love to have you at our next meeting!!


We are thankful for the great mentor our SRO, Officer Smith, is for Simeon and all of our students at Deener!

Last week was National School Bus Safety Week. During this week we took time honoring our wonderful school bus drivers (McCain, Roberto, Diane, and Charles are our regular bus drivers- if you know them tell them thank you for all they do!) and learning more about what we can do to be safer while riding a school bus.

Announcing our Week 8 SUPERHEROES! We are so proud of the investment our students are making in being responsible and helpful leaders!


Red Ribbon Week is this week, October 25th-28th! We love dressing up each day as we learn more and celebrate being Drug FREE!


We are excited to have our onsite pumpkin patch day again this year! Students will rotate through several outdoor activities including picking a pumpkin, Kona Ice, more! Information is has been sent home with students about cost and purchase of Kona Ice.


Week 7 Superheroes! We love celebrating with these students. This week our superheroes showed engagement and responsibility!
