Yesterday our teachers had the opportunity to work with a representative from Solution Tree on campus! Solution Tree is assisting our district in making the Professional Learning Community strong, effective, and collaborative! This was a great way for teachers to review assessments, data, and have discussion on serving our stakeholders best!
Our wonderful PTO and nutrition staff worked together to provide our first day of Breakfast Club for all Kindergarten and 1st grade students and their families! Thank you all who joined us! It was a great way to start our day: food, family, and friends!
Tomorrow our 3rd grade students will join all other 3rd graders from McRae and Westside at Lion Stadium for our annual Track Meet! This is fun day to exercise and meet new friends that will be joining us at the middle school next year!

We love ending our year in the library with several coding experiments including block coding with cubetto, pathways with ozobots, and blockly with dash! Our students are excellent problem solvers!

3rd Grade students have been working hard to show their growth and learning on the ACT Aspire this month. Their focus and determination has earned them some very fun rewards! The game truck arrived this morning for some much needed extra excitement!
Yesterday our kindergarten students adventured to Little Rock to the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts! They got to enjoy the onstage performances of some of author Eric Carle’s classic stories including The Very Hungry Caterpillar!
