Thank you to Southwest Middle School, for hosting our 3rd graders yesterday for a tour and welcome party! Our students always have many questions about this transition to a new school. This event is a great way to help them feel like someone is excited about their arrival next year! Thank you also, to those who hosted and participated in the Popsicles on the Playground yesterday afternoon! It was a blast to see the upcoming 4th graders meet and play together!

Happy School Principal's Day to our very own, Mr.Graham! We are thankful for the many things he brings to the team of staff and students at Sidney Deener! Today we celebrated with a memory quilt and Knight Fire BBQ lunch!

Each month we set a goal for students to earn a certain number of stamps for great choices. Each month those who achieve their goal earn an incentive. April's behavior reward was Kona Ice sno cones and extra recess! We love seeing our students exceed their goals!

These faces are typically the first you see at the front office and the last you see as you leave our campus. They work in so many areas of our school that go unnoticed too often! We are so thankful for Karen & Breanne! Deener would not be the same without them!

Congratulations to our praise parade participants! It is so encouraging to see the positive outcomes of effort placed into recognizing students’ good choices and progress toward their goals!

Ms. Wheat’s kindergarten class celebrated Earth Day by doing an experiment to see what happens to different types of garbage.

We hope you can join us to celebrate our 3rd grade students' time at Sidney Deener and cheer them on as they move to the middle school next year!
