graduation

Searcy School District is providing updated information regarding the 2021 Searcy High School Graduation. After taking into consideration the concerns of families regarding the number of tickets each graduate will receive, Searcy School District administration adjusted the graduation ticket plan. The event will be held at Lion Stadium on Friday, May 14, at 7:30 P.M., and graduates will receive eight (8) total tickets (2 tickets on the field and 6 tickets in the bleachers). Every other row will be skipped to ensure social distancing measures, and we ask attendees to sit in family groups sufficiently spaced from other family groups.  If there are families who need more than the allotted eight (8) tickets, please feel free to reach out to other graduates who may not require all eight (8).  The gates at Lion Stadium will open at 6:30 P.M. As previously planned, both sides of the stadium will be utilized. Tickets will be color coded for the field, the west side of the bleachers, and the east side of the bleachers. Ushers will be on hand to assist you with your seating location. Following the ceremony, we ask that you remain seated and wait for directions from ushers regarding exiting the venue. If weather does not permit the event to be held outside, graduation will be held in the Searcy High School Performing Arts Center in four separate ceremonies on Saturday, May 15th. The graduates will only be allowed six (6) total tickets for an indoor graduation. If it appears that the event will need to be held in the Searcy High School Performing Arts Center, we will provide more information at a later time. Regardless of the location, Searcy High School will be live streaming the graduation ceremony. We hope this will allow for more family members to attend the event and celebrate their student’s high school graduation. We ask for your continued cooperation in order to make this a safe and memorable occasion for our 2021 Searcy High School graduates.
