Governor Asa Hutchinson announced in his press conference today that schools should follow new quarantining guidelines in order to balance the educational and physical well-being in schools. Beginning tomorrow, February 2, contact tracing and quarantining students will not be in effect. Any student who is currently quarantined has the option to stay home until his/her assigned return date or come back onsite beginning tomorrow. Any student or staff member who tests positive must report his/her case to the appropriate point of contact. A positive case requires that the individual isolate for at least five days.
