This message is for seniors regarding the senior scholarship assembly and reception. All honor graduates and any senior who applied for a local community scholarship should attend this event with your parents. The scholarship program is being held in the SHS cafeteria beginning at 6:00 P.M. tomorrow, May 11, and a reception will follow. Dress is business attire. You do not need to wear your graduation cap and gown. We look forward to honoring these Searcy High School seniors. Thank you!

Boys soccer tryouts will be held on Monday and Tuesday, May 24th and 25th from 3:30 until 4:30 P.M. at Lion Stadium. Any young man entering grades 9th through 12th next year wanting to try out will need a current physical in order to do so. Please have cleats and shin guards for the tryout.

Families with children who will be entering Kindergarten in August-don't forget we are holding Kindergarten Roundup/Screenings Tuesday and Wednesday depending on your last name. Make sure you attend the elementary school where you are zoned. We look forward to welcoming a new kindergarten crew to McRae, Sidney Deener, and Westside!

We want to thank the Army National Guard for treating all SHS teachers to a special Chick-Fil-A lunch today. We are fortunate to be partners in education and appreciate their support!!

This is just a reminder that Searcy School District Athletics Dept. is offering free physicals for any student athlete who will enter the 7-12 grades next year.
