Westside teacher Michelle Stephenson was recognized today for completing Part 1 of the i-Ready math certification, which is broken down into four steps. She has mastered the "Try It" component which teaches student perseverance through problem solving. Congratulations Mrs. Stephenson for being the very first in the district to earn this certification!

For any high school students (9th-12th grades) who are NEW TO THE DISTRICT this year, the baseball team will have a special tryout after school on the following dates:November 30 - December 2, 4:00-5:00 PM. Tryouts will be at the High School Baseball field (weather permitting). In the case of rain or bad weather, the tryouts will be moved to the indoor facilities. Baseballs, bats, helmets, and catching gear will be provided by the baseball team. Those trying out will be responsible and encouraged to bring for their own equipment (gloves, catching gear, spikes etc.). Any new student interested in trying out, please email Coach Matt Davis or Coach Dakota Gardner.
