TAKE STATE t-shirts and game tickets are ready for pickup at Searcy High School and Searcy Schools Administration Office. T-shirts and tickets will only be available at SHS until 2:30 P.M. today. GO LIONS!!!

Due to a power line being down, buses 56 & 49 may not be able to get through to all pickup locations. We are doing the best we can to pick up all of those students. Contact transportation office at 268-6954 for more information.

Ticket Information--State Championship game tickets are currently on sale. Searcy School District receives 80% of the proceeds if purchased in advance. Tickets are on sale at SHS and Searcy Schools Administration Office. $7.00 for adults and $6.00 for students. Advanced tickets must be purchased by 2:30 P.M. on Friday. Tickets purchased at War Memorial Stadium are $7.00 for all.

Saturday's game at War Memorial Stadium is the first time SHS Lions have advanced to the championship game since 1984. We invite and encourage 1984 team members to join us at the pep rally on Friday, Dec. 6 at 5:30pm to be recognized. SAVE THE DATE! Searcy Schools will be holding a Community-Wide Pep Rally Friday, December 6th, at 5:30 P.M. in Downtown Searcy. Wear your red and black and support the Lions!!! More details to come throughout the week!

The Christmas tree at the Searcy School District Administration Office is decorated with our favorite Lion ornaments. At the top of our wish list is a Searcy Lion win Friday night against Greenwood and a trip to War Memorial Stadium the next week. Go, Lions! Let’s ROAR!!!

Avoid the lines and buy advance tickets for the third round playoff game Friday night in which the Searcy Lions face off against the Greenwood Bulldogs at 7:00 P.M. Advance tickets may be purchased at the administration office at 801 North Elm between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. Tickets are $6.00 for adults and students. Tickets may also be purchased at Lion Stadium on Friday night. Go, Lions!

It's game day! The SHS Lions take on the Pine Bluff Zebras in tonight's second round playoff game at Lion Stadium. Kick-off is at 7:00 P.M. No Lionbacker or Searcy Schools activity passes will be accepted. Only AAA passes are accepted.Admission is $6.00 for students and adults. Future Searcy Lion,Gentry Davis, watches Mr. Larry's bus route everyday! He can't wait to be able to ride a Searcy bus when he goes to kindergarten. Gentry's parents are both Searcy Schools employees, Matt and Lindsey Davis.

Remember tonight's board meeting where we will present the district's master facilities plan and provide a time for questions or comments regarding the plan. Meeting begins at 5:15 P.M. at the SPSD administration office.

Congratulations to SWMS 6th grade students Zach Tancinco and Lawson Faulkner for placing in the top 3 of the 6th Grade Wilbur D. Mills Educational Cooperative chess tournament! Tancinco took the #1 spot and Lawson earned the #3 place.

Wear your camo as the SHS Lady Lions take on Stuttgart, the duck hunting capital of the world, at their first home ballgame tomorrow night. JV Girls begin at 5pm and the Lady Lions follow. Go Lady Lions!
